Oh, Canada!

Sauble Speedway welcomed the first of three double headers this season to the track by the beach. To kick off Canada's birthday we celebrated with day one of our double header presented by Country 93. The Jr. Late Models, Roote's Gas Bar United 8's, Outlaw Midgets, Can-Am Midgets and the Combined 4's with $1,000 to win were on the card for day one.


In the Jr. Late Models it was #23 of Brandon Magee taking home the victory in day one of the show with the #7 of Laila Walser and the #29 of Pete Webber rounding out the podium of day one. #88 Ryder White and the #92 of Wyatt Sprung were the heat winners on the night.


The Outlaw Midgets made their first trip to Sauble Speedway of the 2022 season. Bringing along with them 14 of the best Outlaw Midget racers setting up for two heats on the night. In heat one we saw #62 Rob McCall take the checkered flag. In heat #2 #53 Mike Bradley was the winner. Come feature time it was the #2 of Jessica James taking the victory.


The Combined 4's saw 16 cars make there way to the beach for a $1,000 to win. To set the lineups for the feature the times had to first qualify in their respective heats. In heat #1 we saw the #24 of Jeff LaFlamme grabbing the checkered flag. Heat #2 saw the #7 of Matt Young get into victory lane with a heat win. Heat #3 saw the #08 of Pat Farrow drive his way to victory lane in the final heat of the night. Come feature time it was the #71 of Gary Jones collecting the checkered flag and the big cheque on the night.


The Roote's Gas Bar United 8's had one heat on the night and was won by #1 of Kayden Wright. Come feature time the driver of the #1 was seeing double as he swept the night taking home the checkered flag.


The Can-Am Midgets touched down at Sauble Speedway for their first of 3 double header weekends at the beach this summer. In heat #1 we saw the #55 of Cory Whittam take heat #1. Heat #2 saw the #11 of David Miller grab the checkered flag. Come feature racing time when the dust settled it was the #42 of Daniel Hawn working his way to victory lane to cap off night one of racing at Sauble Speedway.
